A beautiful, sunny Friday morning in spring so my mood was perfect to record an episode.
I also talked about two Flickr sites on the podcast. Both contain amazing Moleskine drawings and I highly recommend checking them out. They are the pages of Neil Dixon and LBeto.
Currently we don’t have a next show scheduled at the Dirty U-Turn Cafe, but I have a feeling there will be some things happening there real soon.

Today we have something special as UK based The Shakes share an intimate live acoustic set recorded just for The U-Turn Cafe. Thank you again to their management and to the band for doing this. Very cool indeed!

I have some amazing friends, and when they learned of the death of my Grandmother they got together and put together a special U-Turn. I can’t tell them how much this touched me. Thank you to everyone who took part. You are all amazing friends.
Funny thing was that on the ride back I was thinking that it was time for another U-Turn Cafe, but I guess some other cool people beat me to it! *grin*

Just over a month, but I’m back. The cafe might grow cobwebs from time to time, but it’s never closing down. At least not as long as I have something to say about it.
I also talked about the return of Bandtrax and the debut of both The Chillcast and World Surf Radio. All are podcasts I highly reccomend checking out.

One of these days I promise we’ll do this on a more regular basis. All of you listeners have been awesome with your e-mails and messages letting me know how much your looking forward to a new show. Well wait no longer because here is a mix of damn solid music if I do say so myself!
